The Millau Viaduct interpreted

On the occasion of Tourism and Disability National Days, the Millau Viaduct offers its guided tour on the Explorers’ Path in french sign language.

This year, the Millau Viaduct membership to the “Sites d’Exception en Languedoc” network allowed this new project. In partnership with DES’L company, this initiative aims to make signing-deaf people discover the building and the operation of this steel-and-concrete giant.

Established in Montpellier, the firm gathers qualified and experienced professionals; they ensure communication between deaf and hearing speakers.

Sunday 28 april, at 10.30 am, the interpreter will traduce the guide’s speech during the visit on the Explorers’ Path. After that, participants will be able to ask all of their questions.

Book now this sign-language guided tour, by mail at viaduc.info@eiffage.com
The tour is also available for hearing people.
